The Rwanda Parliament was set up through elections made since 29 September to 2 October 2003.
It began its activities on October 10, 2003, after swearing ceremony of members of two chambers

The Parliament of Rwanda consists of two chambers:
  • The Senate
  • The Chamber of Deputies

President of the Rwanda Senate receives Managing Director of EEAS

Today, Tuesday 7th February 2012, H.E. NTAWUKULIRYAYO Jean Damascene, President of the Senate received in his office at Kimihurura, Mr Nicholas Wescott, Managing Director for Africa of the European External Action Service (EEAS) and Advisor to the European Union Foreign Policy Chief on the Sub-Saharan Africa, accompanied by Ambassador Michel Arrion , Head of delegation of the European Union to Rwanda.
