About Parliament 

The Rwanda Parliament was set up through elections made since 29 September to 2 October 2003.
It began its activities on October 10, 2003, after swearing ceremony of members of two chambers

The Parliament of Rwanda consists of two chambers:
  • The Senate
  • The Chamber of Deputies

The delegation of the Senate of the DRC to Kigali for a meeting with their Rwandan counterparts

This Monday, 06 May 201, a delegation of eight Senators from Democratic Republic of Congo, members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Security, lead by the President of the Senate of the DRC, His Excellency Léon KENGO WA DONDO, arrived in Kigali for a meeting with Rwandan counterparts.

SOUTH AFRICA’S HIGH COMMISSIONER PAYS A CALL TO HON. GAKUBA JEANNE D’ARC

Kigali, 03 May 2013, Amb. NKOSINATI George Twala South Africa’s High Commissioner to Rwanda today paid a courtesy call on Senate Vice President Hon. GAKUBA Jeanne d’Arc to strengthen relations between the Parliament of South Africa and Rwanda. The envoy also took the chance to thank the parliament of Rwanda for having been at the centre stage in conflict resolution through membership of inter parliamentary bodies such as the IPU.
