2. To oversee the Executive action
3. To supervise the application of the fundamental principles as stipulated
in article 9 of the Constitution
4. To supervise political organizations as stipulated in article 54 of the
Constitution
5. To approve the appointment of certain state officials as prescribed by the law
6. To carry out outreach programs intended for the population
7. To analyze reports submitted to it by some institutions as provided for by the Constitution
8. To promote parliamentary diplomacy and entertain interparliamentary relations
9. To provide opinion on the finance bill
