Deputies, members of the Committee on Education, Technology, Culture and Youth, are considering the draft law determining the organization of Higher Education Institutions in Rwanda, and analyzing the draft law establishing the National Post Office and determining its mission, organization and functioning in order to harmonize it with the Organic Law establishing Public Institutions.


When the committee was about to close its activities on analyzing the draft law determining the organization of Higher Education Institutions, Nsengumukiza Anathole, legal advisor in Ministry of Education, explained that the purpose of this draft law establishing major guidelines governing the functioning and cooperation in Higher Education Institutions in Rwanda and parastatal Higher Education Institutions under convention.


After analyzing this draft law determining the organization of Higher Education Institutions, the committee started another draft law establishing the National Post Office and determining its mission, organization and functioning.


The purpose of this draft law is the amendment to the existing law taking into account the general provisions governing public institutions, as explained by the Director General of National Post Office.
