Dr. Julitta Onabanjo stated that Rwanda has showcased good progress in health and a sustainable family planning program for the past 25 years - after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

“It was an opportunity to appreciate the progress particularly the health of women and young people. We also talked about sustainable financing health, particularly for family planning which allows the population to decide about their family size,” she added.
