Rwanda pays final tributes to the late Hon. Logan Ndahiro

On 03 November 2019 in the Parliament building, Government officials, senior security officers, family members and relatives paid final tributes to the late Hon. Logan Ndahiro, a Deputy who passed away on 30 October 2019 following an illness.

In a eulogy of H.E. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic delivered by Hon. Uwizeye Judith, Minister for the Presidency, he first of all conveyed his condolences to the family of the deceased. He also saluted his diligence, devotion and bravery especially during the liberation struggle.

Rt. Hon. Mukabalisa Donatille, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies delivering her condolences message, said that the late Logan discharged his duties as parliamentarian with full commitment and always brought in wise views which contributed to the advancement of parliamentary work.

Hon. Musoni Protais speaking on behalf of the RPF-Inkotanyi, underlined that the late Logan, as a member of RPF, championed the public interests all along his career.

The late Hon. Logan Ndahiro was born on 15 March 1951 in Nyagatare. He is survived by his wife Kansanga Marie Odette and 7 children, among them 2 daughters and 5 sons - one of whom died.

He went to primary school in Nyagatare from 1957 to 1963 and attended secondary school and university in Uganda while in exile. He graduated in medical and neurological sciences. He was a holder of a Master’s Degree.

The late Logan served the nation in various positions mainly in the Ministry of Local Government and in the Global Fund. He was a Member of Parliament since 2018.
