The Senate approves High Officials

Senator Mushinzimana Appolinaire and Senator Kalimba Zephyrin , respectively President and Vice President of the Senate Standing Committee on Political Affairs and Good Governance

 

As provided for in the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda, in article 88, the high officials that must be approved by the Senate include the Director General of National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) and commissioners at National Itorero Commission.

 

Candidates approved by the Senate are:

-          Mr. KAYONGA George William: Director General of National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB)

        

 

-          The Commissioners at National Itorero Commission:

 

1.      Mr. RUCAGU Boniface, Chairman


 

2.      Brig. Gen. Emmanuel BAYINGANA, Vice Chairman in charge of National Service

The Senate approves Mr. KAYONGA George William: Director General of National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) and the commissioners at National Itorero Commission  after the presentation of the report by Senator Mushinzimana Apollinaire, the Chairperson of the Committee on Political and Good Governance Affairs, which vetted  those candidates.
