|   Senate

This Monday on 2013, 1st April, the Senate plenary session examined the relevance of the followung two different draft laws:

1.A relevant draft law modifying and complementing the law no 27/2010 of 19/06/2010 governing elections as amended to date;

2.A relevant organic draft law governing politicians and political parties.

Concerning the draft law modifying and complementing the law no 27/2010 of 19/06/2010 governing elections as amended to date, the purpose of this draft law is to solve the problems occuring in election process governed by the law no 27/2010 of 19/06/2010 as amended to date.

This draft law also repeals all the provisions on the crimes ans sanctions containing the law governing elections, for it has been decided that all the crimes and their sanctions must appear in the OrganicLaw establishing the Penal Code.

Concerning  the relevant organic draft law governing politicians and political parties, after the the 4th amendment of the Constitution, it is necessary to hormonize it with the Organic Law governing politicians and political parties in order to ensure good governance and proper drafting.
