Prime Minister informs MPs about the Education Sector

On Tuesday, 1 December 2020, Prime Minister Dr Edouard Ngirente appeared before the joint plenary sitting of the Parliament of Rwanda to inform MPs about the actions of Government in the education sector.

In line with the provisions of the Article 133 of the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 2003 reviewed in 2015, once in a session of Parliament, the Prime Minister informs the joint plenary sitting, about Government activities.

Members of the Parliament commended the progress made in the sector of education and urged the Government to continue addressing various issues that hinder the education sector including overpopulation in classrooms, lack of enough infrastructure of students with a disability, few school materials among others.
