Committee on Social Affairs and Human Rights

The Committee on Social Affairs and Human Rights is specifically responsible for monitoring the application of the following fundamental principles:

  1. Eradication of discrimination and divisionism based on ethnicity, region or on any other ground as well as the promotion of national unity;
  2. Constant quest for solutions through dialogue and consensus.

Regarding the oversight of the Executive actions, the Committee on Social Affairs and Human Rights is responsible for:

  2. Family promotion;
  3. Youth;
  4. Health;
  5. Fight against AIDS and other pandemics;
  6. Education;
  7. Research and technology;
  8. Culture;
  9. Sports;
  10. Workers, employment and social security;
  11. human rights.
