FFRP
The Rwanda Women Parliamentary Forum (FFRP) is a cross-party caucus that brings together both women and men Members of Parliament to advance shared priorities and champion gender equality within Rwanda’s legislative framework. Established in 1996 by twelve women parliamentarians, the Forum promotes solidarity among Members of Parliament across political affiliations and supports their active engagement in reviewing, reforming, or repealing discriminatory laws. As part of Rwanda’s national gender machinery, the FFRP advocates for gender-responsive laws, policies, and budgeting, while strengthening the capacity of parliamentarians to lead effective advocacy on gender equality and sustainable development.
