The Committee on Social Affairs and Human Rights is specifically responsible for monitoring the application of the following fundamental principles:
- Eradication of discrimination and divisionism based on ethnicity, region or on any other ground as well as the promotion of national unity;
- Constant quest for solutions through dialogue and consensus.
