KABANDANA Maurice

Maurice Kabandana is the Director of the Communication Unit at the Parliament, a joint service for both the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies,  holding a Master’s degree in Communication and over 15 years of professional experience in parliamentary communication, media relations, and public outreach.

He has led strategic initiatives to strengthen institutional visibility, transparency, and citizen engagement, while overseeing content development across digital and traditional platforms. He also coordinates media coverage and advises the leadership of the Parliament on communication strategies.

The Communication Unit is responsible for managing media relations, digital platforms, public information, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring the timely and accurate dissemination of parliamentary activities while promoting citizen participation and awareness of legislative processes.
