On 11 September 2023, Members of Parliament, Senior Government officials, family members, and friends paid their last respects to the late Hon. Ntidendereza William in a state funeral which took place in the plenary hall of the Senate.

His Excellence President of the Republic of Rwanda commiserates with the family of the deceased in the message which was read by the Minister in the Office of the President, Judith Uwizeye.

Minister Uwizeye stated that the President of the Republic and his family were saddened by the death of Hon. Ntidendereza William, and extended condolences to his children, the entire family, and Rwandans during this difficult time.

"Senator Ntidendereza served our country in many ways and capacities, and he did all his duties well. His Excellency the President of the Republic and his family wish Mrs Ntidendereza and her entire family to continue being strong in this time of great sorrow": a part of the message of His Excellency President of the Republic of Rwanda.

The Rwanda Patriotic Front - Inkotanyi, Gasamagera Wellars lauded how Senator Ntidendereza William has been fulfilling all his responsibilities given to him, and how he has worked diligently to achieve his goals. He said that he will always be remembered for his service to the country to keep the memory of his legacy.

The President of the Senate, Rt. Hon. Dr Kalinda François Xavier consoles the family of Senator Ntidendereza stating that as Members of the Parliament, they will continue to consider the values that he has shown in his work in the Senate and the Parliament in general, as well as in other institutions where he has worked for. 

"Senator Ntidendereza demonstrated a high level of knowledge based on experiences he gained from the positions he held in various national organs. It has made him a wise man who gives good and constructive opinions, which often helped to provide tangible solutions for the issues that were being discussed": Dr Kalinda F-X said.

After the state funeral and mess at the EAR Remera/Giporoso, the body of Senator Ntidendereza William was laid to rest in Rusororo, Kabuga Cemetery. May his dear departed soul, rest in eternal peace.
