Members of the Chamber of Deputies also joined residents in community work (Umuganda). The Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Hon. Uwineza Beline, participated in Rwamagana District, while MPs from the Committee on National Unity, Human Rights and the Fight against Genocide carried out community work in the districts of Gisagara, Ngororero, Gakenke and Kayonza.

Addressing residents of Kicukiro in Kigali City, the President of the Senate, Dr Kalinda François Xavier, emphasised unity as the cornerstone of national progress. “When we stand together, no one can divide us,” he stated, urging citizens to reject genocide ideology and any actions that threaten national cohesion and security.

He called on Rwandans to remain steadfast in upholding unity and resilience, stressing that every citizen has a vital role to play in building a peaceful, secure, and forward-looking nation.
