On 7 March 2023, the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Eswatini Right Hon. Sen. Pastor Lindiwe Dlamini started a 4-day study visit in Rwanda and was welcomed by Senate President Kalinda François Xavier at the Kigali International Airport.

On 8 March 2023, Right Hon. Sen. Pastor Lindiwe Dlamini interacted with the President of the Senate and two Vice Presidents Nyirasafari Esperance and Alvera Mukabaramba on
ways of enhancing bilateral parliamentary relations.

Welcoming his counterpart, President of the Senate Kalinda François Xavier said, "Your visit is therefore another testimony of the special relations of a true friendship between our two parliaments and it reminds us of the important solidarity. 

"The kind of solidarity that gives our respective countries strength and confidence to learn from each other and work together to tackle challenges we face. This is the expectation of the people of the Kingdom of Eswatini as well as the people of Rwanda." Rt. Hon Kalinda added.

Senate President of Eswatini said, "Rwanda stands out as one of those countries that have shown that in the adversity in everything, they come through they have risen above every challenge." 

"From Rwanda, we are learning resilience, you are actually a reason above every adversity and stood out to be a beckon of success to which as African countries we are coming to say we want to learn from you." Said Pastor Lindiwe Dlamini.

Senate President of the Kingdom of Eswatini Pastor Lindiwe Dlamini also visited Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies and they interacted the collaboration between parliaments of two countries. Both dignitaries commended the existing good relations between both countries as well.

During her visit to Rwanda, Senate President of the Kingdom of Eswatini, Lindiwe D. paid respects to the victims of the Genocide Against the Tutsi and also witnessed efforts of RPF to stop Genocide at the Campaign Against Genocide Museum. Then she toured precincts of the Parliament and learned about the building's architectural structure.
