The Chamber of Deputies has organised field visits from October 24th to 26th, 2024 to assess the program implementation of the government in the agriculture sector in all provinces and the City of Kigali. Members of Parliament will also join the citizens in the community work (Umuganda) of October 2024. Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Rt Hon. Kazarwa Gertrude said, "Members of the 5th term of the Chamber of Deputies will engage with the communities to assess their areas of concern in order for them to be addressed by relevant institutions”. During the field visit, Members of Parliament will take this opportunity to thank the citizens for their participation in the smooth running of the previous Presidential and Parliamentary elections. Members of Parliament will visit selected agricultural and livestock projects in some sectors in all provinces and the City of Kigali. Additionally, local leaders will update the members of Parliament on the progress made in addressing the citizens' queries identified in the previous field visits.
