Representing the President of Mozambique, at the solemn occasion of the 30th Commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi, the President of the Assembly of Mozambique, Esperança Laurinda Francisco Nhiuane Bias visited Rwanda form 6-8April 2024.

Her visit was not merely ceremonial, it was part of a broader effort to fortify the ties between the two nations. She interacted with her counterpart the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Mukabalisa Donatille

During their discussions, President of the Assembly Bias and Speaker Mukabalisa talked about the implementation of the protocol of cooperation signed between the two parliaments in June 2022. They focused on areas where they could share experiences and best practices, demonstrating their shared commitment to parliamentary diplomacy and mutual growth.

Apart from the meetings, President Bias and her delegation also visited the Museum for Campaign against Genocide and C&D Products Rwanda, a prominent clothing manufacturing factory. They also toured Volkswagen Rwanda, an exclusive assembly plant for the renowned Volkswagen brand.
