Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Rt. Hon. Mukabalisa Donatille, Senators and Deputies who are members of the Anti-Genocide Parliamentary Forum Rwanda Chapter (AGPF-Rwanda) and Rwanda Women Parliamentary Forum (FFRP), visited Intwaza, elderly Genocide against the Tutsi survivors whose Impinganzima home is based in Bugesera District on 16 June 2023,

Speaker Mukabalisa noted, “Though you have lost all your children, spouses, all your family members during the Genocide against Tutsis, though you are left with wounds, the broken heart, we are now happy because you always show us that you are strong. You have a country with good leadership, and it took the responsibility to take care of you" Hon. Mukabalisa added.

Speaker Mukabalisa Donatille commiserates with Intwaza, elderly Genocide survivors in Bugesera District for the passing of their lovely colleague the night before the visit.

The visit to Intwaza, elderly Genocide against the Tutsi survivors was organised by members of the Anti-Genocide Parliamentary Forum, Rwanda Chapter (AGPF-Rwanda) and Rwanda Women Parliamentary Forum (FFRP) to continue being close to them and support them during the continuing 100 days of the commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994, and to interact with them during these commemoration days which gives them strength and hope.

Apart from Intwaza Elderly Genocide Survivors living in Impinganzima homes based in Bugesera, other three groups of MPs visited Intwaza Elderly Genocide survivors in Huye, Nyanza and Rusizi districts’ Impinganzima homes.
