The Ambassador of Algeria to Rwanda H.E. Mohamed Mellah held talks with The President of the Senate President Kalinda François Xavier and the Senate Vice Presidents Hon. Nyirasafari Espérance and Hon. Mukabaramba Alvera on 8 January 2023.

On 16 January 2024, the Ambassador of Algeria to Rwanda paid a courtesy call to the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies and with the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Mukabalisa Donatille and Deputy Speakers Mukabagwiza Edda and Musa Fazil Harerimana.

"The Ambassador told us about the projects that already exist between Rwanda and Algeria, but as the Parliament, we also discussed about parliamentary relations, and he promised that he will play an important role development of these relations" said Rt. Hon. Kalinda.

"Soon, we will sign an agreement with the Chamber of Commerce between both countries to establish a Business Council with Algeria and Rwanda. So, there are a lot of projects to be signed on the economic and commercial level between the two countries." said H.E. Mohamed Mellah

“We have a good relationship with Algeria. In parliamentary diplomacy, we are committed to continuing to work together through the friendship groups that the two parliaments have already established. “Said Speaker Mukabalisa Donatille.
