On 24 February 2025, the Plenary of the Chamber of Deputies (CD) adopted several recommendations including summoning the Minister of Finance and Planning, Minister of Trade and Commerce, and Minister of Local Government to respectively explain issues related to SACCOs, cooperatives, BDF services and the VUP program.

The Minister of Local Government has been assigned to report further on unresolved citizen concerns that were raised during previous MPs' outreach activities.

Furthermore, the Chamber of Deputies committed to overseeing, through the Committee on Economy and Trade, the infrastructure development, including feeder roads, water, electricity, and bridges, while also monitoring the governance of savings groups. Besides, the Committee on Social Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies was tasked to analyze the impact of substance abuse on public health.

During nationwide visits, Members of the Chamber of Deputies assessed citizens' welfare and economic empowerment initiatives in 248 sectors focusing on the progress of initiatives aimed at improving citizens' livelihoods, how citizens are supported in accessing financial services to implement income-generating projects through institutions such as SACCOs, BDF, savings groups, and cooperatives.

They engaged communities in discussions on various topics such as unity, resilience, conflict resolution, drug prevention, and workforce participation. Residents appreciated the dialogues but emphasized the need for solutions to land compensation issues and the expansion of infrastructure to underserved areas.
