On 26 June 2025, the Plenary Sitting of the Chamber of Deputies summoned the Minister of Local Government to provide an oral explanation of service delivery gaps, especially in civil registration, and the Minister of ICT and Innovation on issues in digital service systems as well.

The Chamber of Deputies' Committees were assigned to analyse issues impacting justice services and security concerns related to theft and illegal mining.

In addition, the Minister of Local Government will provide a report on how the issues raised by citizens and submitted to Members of Parliament, which fall under the responsibilities of decentralised governance entities, have been addressed, reinforcing its commitment to improved public service delivery.

Members of Parliament tabled the report of the findings from outreach visits they carried out in 237 sectors across the provinces and the City of Kigali between 28 May-04 June in the provinces and 07-08 June 2025 in the City of Kigali. The visits focused on assessing how local governance institutions deliver services to citizens and the use of digital systems in service delivery.
