The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Mukabalisa Donatille, with the two Vice-Presidents, Mukabagwiza Edda and Sheikh Harerimana Mussa Fazil received in audience the “Vérificateur Général” of Mali, Samba Alhamdou Baby. The “Vérificateur Général” of Mali was accompanied by the Auditor General Alexis Kamuhire.

Hon. Mukabalisa and Hon. Samba welcomed the excellent relations between Rwanda and Mali. They reiterated that cooperation agreements are under discussion to create a formal framework for collaboration in different areas such as governance and air transport.

In his visit to the Parliament, Hon. Samba Alhamdou Baby participated in the session of the Committee on Public Accounts and observed the PAC’s activities while it was conducting the public hearings for public institutions and projects that have been identified with irregularities in the management of public finances and resources in the report of the Office of the Auditor General for the fiscal year ended on 30 June 2022.

In his 5-day official visit to Rwanda the “Vérificateur Général” of Mali, Samba Alhamdou Baby visited the Office of Auditor General and other public institutions intending to strengthen further the existing relations between the two institutions.
