On 8 November 2023, the Ambassador of Israel to Rwanda, Amb Einat Weiss, paid a courtesy call on Senate President, Rt. Hon. Dr Kalinda François Xavier during which they commended the bilateral relationship between the two countries and vowed to further strengthen Parliamentary Diplomacy.

Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Rt. Hon. Mukabalisa Donatille respectively received in courtesy visit Amb. Fazil Rabab Fatima, UN Under-Secretary-General and High Representative and H.E. Dianguina dit YAYA DOUCOURE, Ambassador of Mali to Rwanda.

Speaker Mukabalisa and Amb. Fazil Rabab Fatima saluted the partnership between the two institutions and talked about the preparations for the third United Nations Conference of the Landlocked Developing Countries to be hosted by Rwanda in 2024. 

Speaker Mukabalisa and Mr. Dianguina welcomed the established bilateral relations between Rwanda and Mali and discussed ways to initiate a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of Parliamentary Diplomacy.
